Description
Unlike pumpkin and winter squash plants, these plants form a bush. It is known for its bumpy or smooth yellow exterior and yellow, sweet flesh. In addition, this summer squash has a distinct curve at the end of the stem, giving it a crooked neck.

Growing Tips:
Seeds can be sown in your garden or germinated indoors. Ensure the soil is loose, moist, and fertile. Prepare the soil by mixing a 3-inch layer of compost into it. Keep plants contained by wrapping the stems with aluminum; this prevents squash bug borers and slugs from destroying your plants.
