Castlemine Farm Shop Continues with Expansion in Roscommon Town

The Allen brothers ‘Castlemine Farm’ brand is going from strength to strength. The launch of their new shop in Roscommon Town is continuing on their nationwide expansion plans. The brothers also plan to open a further three shops in different locations over the next 12 months. The success in Moycullen Country Market (every Friday) and Galway City Market (every Saturday) has earmarked plans for another shop to open in Galway soon.
Castlemine Farm is run and owned by Brendan and Derek Allen and has been part of the Allen Family legacy for over three generations. One just has to take a stroll around Castlemine Farm to be intrigued by the place. Comprising over 250 acres, spanning several lush green fields from which their products get their unique taste. Speciality breeds of Irish, British and Scottish cattle on the farm include Angus and Hereford breeds. The farm also boasts unique pig breeds including Saddlebacks, Gloucestershire Oldspots and Tamworths. Castlemine Farm product range includes dry aged beef, dry cured bacon, grass fed lamb and free range poultry which is a true mark of the regions farming strength. They also produce free-range traditional breed pigs from which their signature and much sought after sausages and rashers derive from.
